Will my gps garmin nuvi 350 stop working if it gets too hot or too cold? i plan to leave it in my car.?

The unit may not stop working but you battery capacity will be all screwed up or messed up.

Its small enough to carry it with you in the bag or suitcase. So that way you can keep it at good shape and avoid getting your car broken in (yes, my friend got his car broken in b/c someone saw the gps unit in his car)

Wouldn't leave it in your car visible all the time.  Seems to be a hot item for smash and grab thieves.  So be smart on keeping your GPS unit safe.  Most are portable enough to purchase a pocket cover for it to put in a pocket, bag, briefcase, or purse...
