Will my guinea pig hate me?

Question

I'm going to sleepaway camp for 2 weeks tomorrow and I'm leaving my mom to take care of my guinea pig. Will she love my mom and hate me when I get back because she thinks I left her? I'm really scared!

I have a guinea pig, and I've left her a home before with someone to take care of her.  When I got back, he was happy to see me.  It was like I'd never left!  Hope I helped!

aslong aas it has food and water it will be fine i had to leave mine eith my mum wen i mooved for australia for a year . i didnt give a s**+**T aslond as  it was fed :)

She won't detach from you in 2 weeks.  She will be very happy to see you when you return.  She will never think you left her on purpose.  She will think it just happened.

She might get to like your mom more than she did before, but she will still love you just like before.

I had to leave my guinea pig with my grandmother for a month when I was on vacation, and I was very nervous, but all went well. My guinea pig still loved me when I got back, maybe even more than before.

No offense, but guinea pigs aren't that smart.

She won't know you've left and probably won't notice a difference.

She really won't 'hate' you considering guinea pigs don't feel hate or even dislike.

Two weeks isn't long.

She shouldn't detach at all.

Guinea pigs are simple animals; once trained, they stay trained. Once they know a person, they don't forget them.
