Will my guppies die of rain water ?

I have a pond outside with guppies and 2 goldfishes , and now its rainy season where i live , and it tends to rain about 4 times a week , and i was wandering is rain water will kill or harm them.

  1. rainwater is soft water and will have a ph 7.0

    ....the air pollution in your area might have some particulate matter that over time perhaps has an ill effect upon plants and fish in general, however, guppies will not be harmed by rainwater


  2. 1. i doubt rain water will harm them

    2. guppies are tropical fish and need to be kept in an indoor tropical aquarium

    3. goldfish will eat guppies if they are big enough

  3.   I have a 150 gallon tub outdoors that has had platys breeding in it since May.  It gets rain all the time, we have had quite a bit this summer.  I live in Chicago, anything in the rain water is not bothering them at all.


  4. Well it depends if you live in the city where the rain is very poluted or not
