Will my husband who is in the army be able to come home and see his first child born?

Hailey is due to come on October 4th which is 1 day after his graduation from basic. Im having a c section due to a previous pregnancy and it is a major operation and i would really like him to be here but i cant get a straight answer from anyone by the way he will be starting his AIT training in Missouri on the 6th of october and his basic is in fort sill Oklahoma do you think it will be possible PLEASE HELP!

  1. I know that my step brother missed his daughters birth because he was away in training for the army and right after that the sent him some where. I am not sure where though.  I hope your husband will be able to see your child's birth though.


  2. Sounds like he only has 2 days to transport to his new assigned base.  I would highly doubt if they would make an exception in your case unless it is life threatening to either you or the baby.
