Will my ice hockey pads be ok if i use them once on a basketball court (for a indoor street hockey tournament)? This is because my team needs a goalie and im willing if i can wear my pads. Just let me know if you think they will rip, scuff really bad, or anything else because i need them for ice hockey still. THANKS

  1. Probably not. They'll rip up like crazy on that kind of surface. Street hockey pads are made of tougher stuff built to take that kind of abuse. Those aren't. They'll scuff really bad at the very least.

Edit: wait, I misread. Indoor is the key here. If that means wood court, then you should be fine. If it's those plastic tile things, then it's not good. Duct tape on the bottom of pads would be a good idea anyway though.

  2. u should where them. even if they do rip take 1 for the team.

  3. It looks ghetto but if you put duct tape on those areas of the pad which will come in regular contact with the surface, you should be ok. If you have an older pair (that fit) and that you are comfortable in I would probably wear those.

  4. wouldn't risk it
