Will my japanese 60gb PS3 play all region(s) of blu-ray movies?

i have heard so many conflicting reports!! my ps3 was made in japan (it is the j*p 60gb version) and so far it can play aussie blu-ray's ... i need to know if i can buy any blu-ray from anywhere in the world via ebay and have it work !! cheers

that depends on the title and from what studio it is, as of now not all blu-ray  movies have region locks there are many discs that doesnt have any region lock, but since blu-ray already won the format war i bet it wont be long before all movie studios incorporate or sony make them put region locks on all and every title.

so it doesnt matter if is from the US or japan Sony is Sony anywhere they wont sell a PS3 region free that I can assure you.
