  1. Possibly (it depends on which network you're using)...

Cingular has agreements with *some* European cell carriers, so if you have Cingular you can possibly have it work.  But you'll need to contact Cingular ahead of time and let them know you're going to Ireland, and that you'll want to use it there.  Warning:  it will be EXPENSIVE (your US plan doesn't cover access in foreign countries).

I travel to the UK a lot, and in the end found it much cheaper and easier to get a UK cell phone account, and use all the services in the UK rather than use my US account there.  Virgin mobile has good plans (that you can set up as "pay as you go") that are much cheaper than using your US access while in Ireland.

Enjoy your trip -- Dublin is very nice :)

  2. If it is a wifi card it will work no problem.  I went from Italy to the States on an Italian wifi card with no problems.

  3. the guy above me forgot to ask if its a regular wifi card or a wireless broadband card you bought from your cell phone company. if its the former it will work just fine, radio signals dont discriminate by country. if its the latter then youll have to ask whoever your cell company if they have service in dublin.
