  1. he should be ok they store fat in their tails and when there is a shortage of food they will live off on that.

  2. i really cant  see his body size. e-mail me a pic of him . then I'll tell you if he can or not, cause i when out of town for a week. an mine was fine a little skinny but fine.

  3. Why dont you just leave like 40 Crickets in his tank? I dont like seeing animals starve. The crickets wont do no harm to him just leave them in so he can catch them whens hes hungry.

  4. Queen S is retarded. Lizards are REPTILES, Not mammals like us.

And it WILL BE FINE. They can live off the fat in their tails.

He will live, but make sure you feed him when you get home.

  5. nooo, you need to get someone to take care of him

  6. No no no!  Get a pet sitter!

  7. ji dont think so

  8. ya im pretty sure it will i have a tortoise and it can go like a week without eating

  9. If it is such a concern, have someone watch him.

  10. no, i wouldnt suggest it.

he's just not capable of handling that kind of environment without food

  11. It will die, and thats abuse. You can go to jail for that.

  12. no. it will not be ok. get a pet sitter. or else. o_0.

seriously, though, I wouldn't leave it for that long without food.

  13. I would check with your vet.  GIve him the age and the approximate amount you normally feed him and see.  I am sure the water thing could be an issue, but then again, my lizard is a chameleon.

U don't have ANYONE that could check on it on like late day 2?

  14. no!have a person you trust come everyday and feed him.

  15. I think you should have a friend watch him...or the vet...or something.

  16. yh m not 2 sure about leaving the poor guy alone he's a mammal like us if we can't survive without food and water i am not too sure he can so you're best off with getting a pet sitter or someone who will take care of him properly

  17. well i would say no do u have food for it? well if u do put it in a bowl and let it eat it if it wants to when ur gone for the 4 days!

  18. Yes, he will be perfectly fine without food for 4 days.

Leos can go a LONG time without food because the happen to store fat in their tails and when they cannot find food, they just live off their fat 'till the find some food. However gross it may sound, its true. Its how they survive in the wild.

Just make sure that your gecko is well fed before you leave and has plenty of water, but other than that, you are A-OK to leave him food-less for 4 days.

  19. I do not think so, you might want to get a timed feeder where it just releases food or if you want to put alot of food in a contianer i think so.

P.S. I was thinking of getting a leopard gecko and Ive been doing a lot of research. Do you think they would be a good pet for a thirteen year old?

  20. Techinally yes but i wouldnt reccomend it. Find some1 you trust to leave him with or that can go to your house to feed it.

  21. YOU DON'T KNOW ONE SINGLE PERSON YOU CAN LEAVE IT WITH?????????????  h**l...maybe that's why you got a gecko I guess.

YOU can go four days without food.  However, the pain will be excruciating.  But that's your choice.  Your gecko doesn't have a choice now does he?

    The answer is NO!

The answer is YES if you're one cruel b*****d.  At least leave the AC running so the little guy don't die from the heat.
