Question:

Will my male guppy pester my females even after he bred to them

im just wondering will he still pester to breed to them? answer fast please!!!!!!

  1. yeah he will. the more females you have the better I( if you plan to breed them ) many breeders like to keep the females in aseparatee tank after they are gravid ( pregnant) if a male is constantly trying to mate with a female the female becomes stressed and may die due to it if you want to, try moving the females to differentnt tank with hidding spots and plants if you want a majority of them to live. the mother will eat thier own fry...ok im getting a bit off topic but yes the male guppy will continuously mate with the female regardless of her condition


  2. Yes, they never tire of chasing the females.  That's why a ratio of 1 male to 3 females is good.  It gives them a chance to get a rest.

  3. yeep.  always.   the girls will get tired unless you have alot of males compaired to females.   i have always kept my guppies in seperate tanks unless i want to breed them.    remember if you breed them, try to breed them for a spacific color. and to better that breed of guppie..
