Will my medical bill go up if i lose my insurance while paying on my bill?

  2. No it goes by the date of service.  So if you were covered at the time of service anything that happens to your policy after that is irrelevant.

  3. Services that were provided while you have your insurance will be billed to you at the rate the doctor has contracted with the insurance company.

    Any services provided after that are at whatever rate the doctor charges, and certainly could be higher.  These would include follow-up visits, for example.
