Will my miniature schnauzer's hair color change?

I have a 3-month old miniature schnauzer whose hair is black all over, but I have noticed that the inner part of her hair (the roots) is kind of brown-ish, red-ish looking. Her mom is salt and pepper but the father is totally black. Will her hair color change? Is there anything I can do to make it stay black without harming her?

My miniature schnauzer is 6 months old and che had'nd beem clipped yet and she is a black a silver but her inner hair changed color to grey,silverish and red, her mother is salt and pepper.

Will she change color after clipping??
