I know close to nothing about pc components and which are the best. I don't have to play brand new games at the highest settings but it'll be nice to be able to play most games.

With ATI Radeon X1250 1GB Hyper & 8GB RAM

Max Res 2560x1600 Support Inc Blu-Ray Support

Galaxy 3 Case With Quality 450W PSU (Winpower ATX 450w)

AMD QUAD 10Ghz PHENOM 9850 8GB/500GB & X1250 1GB GFX

TRUE QUAD CPU WITH 4 CORES @ 2.5Ghz + 1GB Hyper Gfx

HELP!!!

THANKS!!!!

  1. WOOOOOOOOW i cant just believe it that u got that pc for £345...do u know why????....that is jus WORTH A LOT, cos look if u go to any shop and look for those definitions it could be over way over £550.....i wish i ever had one....but yea it will run smoothly any modern or old game....go on its definitions are high so it wont affect the pc`s life.....just be happy with that pc and amuse yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Get a new graphics card; the other components are fine (Well, good :p), you just don't have a dedicated graphics card, which is the most important part of the system if you want to play games.

You'll have a PCIx16 slot so all new graphics cards will work with it, basically. I suggest getting something like an ATI HD 4850 if you want something relatively "cheap" and still do all that you want. Getting a card like that means you shouldn't have to upgrade again for a few years.

  3. Just make sure if you go with a 4850 or similar high-end graphics card you upgrade your power supply, too.  450w is enough for integrated, but not power suckers like the 8800/9800 series or 4800 series cards.

You do need a new graphics card for that system, though.  An x1250 will let you play most games that are out, but you will have to put them on the lowest settings and resolutions.  They'll look like c**p.
