  1. Sorry to be a stickler here, but you should not be catching wild animals and keeping them as pets. They sell toads at lots of pet stores, and you'll get an animal that's far more used to being in captivity. I just don't think it's fair for a wild animal to be taken as a pet...

But to answer the question.. it won't die, but it will likely be quite hungry.

  2. No! Don't take wild animals into your home as pets! It disrupts the environment and reducing the breeding population. Also, if you get tired of the taod, you won't be able to return him to the wild because you will have disrupted his eating and hibernation cycles.

If you really want a toad, buy one that has been bred in captivity.

  3. keep him for a day or two and let him go. im grown and i still like to catch things we have a creek now. i didn't when i was a kid so there all kinds of cool critters. i trow a old pool under a shade tree and add a bit of water on one end and put them in it to watch them i dont keep anything for more than an hour.if you really like frog let it go and get one from the pet store read up on them first. i dont think its a crime to catch but maybe to keep.

  4. Let it go, it will be much happier outside in it's natural habitat

  5. yeah, it will be fine. They only have to eat a few times a week anyway, about three I think, so it will be alright for a few days. Good luck with him, and God bless!

  6. It'll be fine.

  7. yes it will be ok
