If it's digital, ie it has built-in freeview, then yes, if not, you'll need a set-top box which will remove the portabilty.

Sounds like you were sold this by Tesco's with the 3 year warranty 2 years before swtichover..!!

suggest on switchover taking it back to tesco's saying it wont work and is under warranty - serve them right for selling tv's they know would be useless!!

It will only work with a add-on box but that defeats the point of buying a slimline set i the first place. Tesco's have only now decided to sell digital ready sets across the range!

Any non HD TV will need a converter box or a cable/sattelite connection to receive signals.
