I've heard her say alot of sentences. Like "Mom are we going to momos house" or she would play on her own with toys and has an imagination with one toy being the doctor and her little sister is scared....but my concern is she talking...then all of a sudden its like she jibber jabbers then back to a sentence than jibber jabbers....she will be 4 in november...she knows all her animals things like that....she is starting a preschool called head start....not being around other children and not going to daycare could that be the reason of some of her jibber jabber talk when she is playing and constantly talking?......maybe her starting school will help her speak better?.....

  1. congratulations you have a health child.

  2. There is nothing wrong with your child. She is healthy and normal, so don't worry. The only time to worry is if she doesn't grow out of this stage by age 5. If not then schedule an appointment with a speech therapist for help. Also, Headstart is a wonderful program for your child to be involved in. I previously worked for the company in my area as a teacher and our number one goal was teaching the children to the best of our ability. Good Luck!

  3. My friends' baby brother, who is 4 this December, does that too. He actually doesn't really say full sentences, or at least not very coherently. However, his mother's side of the family is Asian so sometimes he will insert a word in Chinese or Thai that I and my friends don't know. But usually he just says parts of words.

They learn at different paces, and he's in preschool. If it doesn't start improving in a few years, then speech therapy will help.

  4. Yes it will help her speech. Also she maybe using jibberish just because she may not have all the words she needs to express her self. It will come in time. Keep encouraging her to talk.
