Will my songs still be on there?

I just got my computer cleaned out and I saw that my itunes is gone. If I download itunes again, will my songs still be on there?

don't worry... they're still there

iTunes is just a program that enables you to manage your music collection. Your music collection on your computer is stored in the My Music folder by default. to access them, go to My Documents and then click on My Music and then click on the iTunes folders...

when you reinstall itunes, open it up and go to File>>Add folder to library and then select the folder in which your music is stored.

The Itunes program can be reinstalled without any problems.......it all depends on what they did in "cleaning out" your computer.  Did they reformat?  did they save your files on a disc or back them up on an external drive?  Are all your other files back in your documents folder?

If your music files are in the "my documents" area then Itunes can re-reference those and your back up and running....if you had itunes because you have an ipod, your songs that are on the ipod are transferable to your pc through itunes.  If your other files and folders were not backed up and they did a format...your files are gone
