Question:

Will my speeding ticket me dismissed in court?

I recently got a speeding ticket for going 50 in a 35. The officer did not clock me, yet he paced me for less than a mile. He asked me how fast I was going and I told him that I thought I was going about 45. The ticket does not say that he was pacing me, should it?

  1. I doubt the ticket will be dismissed but if you go to court and plead no contest it will probably be reduced.

You admit that you were going at least 10 over.  You cannot, therefore, plead not guilty to the speeding charge, since that would be a lie.
