Will my subs hit good throughout my vehicle?

amp- 1600 watts max power soundstorm amp

800 watts rms

subs- 300 watts max power 12" rockford fosgate p1 punch's

150 watts rms

car- 1995 ford taurus sadan

  1. Are you powering a subwoofer that is 150w RMS to an amp thats 800w RMS? If so then your subwoofer will literally blow up in a few days or less use. Unless you have more subwoofers that run up to 800w do not hook that up in your car. If correct wattage with the amp and subwoofer then your car will thump. If there is heavy bass then you will feel your hair move, body vibrate, and see your mirrors jiggle and headlights dim on bass hits. 150w RMS isn't great, so it won't do all that I have described, but for sure will sound great. All subwoofers hit well throughout a car if they rate at true wattage at or over 300w RMS.


  2. Your amp is SERIOUSLY going to overpower those subs and blow them.
