Will my sunburn go away over time?

When i was younger my cheeks got burnt bad enough that it stayed there. I was wondering will this ever go away or are there other alternatives to make it go away?

I have one right now i just bought aloiva thingo and it dont get rid of pain it just sooths it a bit you just have to wait it out it will 80%/100% peel and you can take some off yourself (not reccomend) If you do try to peel of dont rip it off fast for christs sake your bleed like mad the itchy sansation just means your going 2 peel soon good luck... but i 100% recommend buy some aloive or whateva it is.One thing most people dont know is just take hot showers not cold ok you dry the skin out like mad so it peels quicker can reduce it from 1-3 weeks to like 1-2 weeks

Even under a weak but it will be itchy like h**l i did this i got it over and done with in 1 week
