Will my tooth become infected?

I went to get 4 teeth extracted today.He started on one,I FLIPPED out and left.Well my tooth around the top is purplish.Is it usual or infected.Will it go away?

And how do I get the novicane to wear off? He gave me three doses

what was the reason the teeth needed to come out?  if severe decay or periodontal disease, then yes.

anesthesia will wear off in time, usually three to 4 hours.

consider getting sedated next time by oral surgeon.
