Yes your verizon phone will work there. They have verizon there which is now actually called Claro. Same company just a different name. If it helps check coverage on the verizon map on their website it does include PR. Most of my friends have verizon I live in PR.

Verizon sell his company to Claro here in Puerto Rico. but the cell phones that was from verizon still work right now soi dont know.

chances are it should as it on the same continent but different mobiles have different bands. Go to any phone store and they will look at the model and type it in and tell you.
