Will my visa electron card work to get money from ATMs in Israel?

Electron is carried by Visa and thus will work in any Cash machine that works with Visa.

However I would let your bank know that you are going, in case they block any foreign transactions.

It probably will.  However, my memory is that many foreign ATM's only work if your PIN is exactly four digits.

Yes it should, but before you leave make sure to tell your bank that you'll be in Israel so they don't block your card. Also ask if they have any daily withdrawl limits so you can either: A) ask for them to expand the limit or B) Plan your spendings around this daily limit.
