Back when I was 14 I had just discovered my head voice and it was weak and ugly. Worse than my falsetto. Today I'm almost 17 and my voice has gotten a lot deeper and my higher range is much more consistent and sounds more like my natural voice than falsetto. Sometimes my voice gives and and does not want to make a sound any higher than my speaking range. And on other days my voice is crystal clear and I can span the 2 octaves in my comfortable range witch is F2-F4 I'm a baritone. And sometimes I can reach C5 is I place my voice rite. And my voice fluctuates a lot. It's relatively the same but some mornings I'll wake up and I'm talking lower than ever. Other days I'll wake up and start talking and think to myself, did I become a tenor over night?...And my voice timbre changes almost daily from lighter to heavy.......I've never gone through that stage where my voice cracks uncontrollably and sound like a dying chicken all day. It has gotten lower gradually.

When I get older will my voice settle in one place and stop fluctuating all the time? And is it normal to wake up one day and your voice seems lower or higher than it was the day before? I mean not drastically, but enough to notice...Will my higher range mix/head voice get a lot thicker and heavy like male opera singers when I'm an adult. And about what age will all of this happen?

  1. by the time you are 18 your voice should be developed and by the time you are 21 you should not be experiencing any voice fluctuation except on the very rare occasion. but it changes from person to person, some guys have high voices, some have low voices and either way its fine. This should start getting better from now on, its kind of like pimples..... if you know what i mean. :)

  2. man this is very normal i am the same age and same thing is going on now i just turned 18 and it is totally cool trust me it will settle very soon
