Question:

Will new labours 'guardianship' of the UK result in a major right wing back lash?

I'm a 'liberal' (not in the US sense) who believes in the 'when in Rome' theory.

My dad is English & my mother was born else where but will new labours open door policy create a right wing backlash (understandably)?

If someone chooses to move & live in another country then surly the people whom have made that choice should respect the culture of that country? Understand the choice they have made?

I do not want to see the UK have a right wing back lash, will it happen?

  1. Sure. People who emigrate here should accept our values and customs. Binge drinking. Teenage pregnancies. School age mums. Absent fathers. PC 'yuman rightists'. We need more people like that.

  2. I wouldn't worry too much. The 2 major parties are so alike these days that you need to be a political pundit to tell the difference. The Tories talk big but they will not be able to do much to stem the tide of immigrants. If people want to come and live in the UK, learning the English language would be a good start.

  3. there will be but not necessarily for that reason alone, all this political correctness and barmy left wing policies haven't helped either.

  4. I don't know where you've been for the last five years, but there's already one taking place - you only have to ask any question about immigration here to see that.

  5. No. Part of the reason is that in the EU there is free movement of people, so there is little the British can do to stop other Europeans from working in Britain.

As for Asylum seekers, there is a lot of criticism, but no actual plan on how to deal with them.

Part of the problem is that people are very hypocritical in Britain. For example, they complain about the Poles coming over, and yet employ Polish plumbers. They complain about the number of Africans, Indians, Pakistani, and West Indians even though these countries were part of the British empire and they thought nothing of invading them and shipping millions of British to them.

British people also argue that the immigrants don't blend in and don't learn the local culture or language. If you go to parts of Spain where the British have settled then you will see that they have pushed the natives out.

If you think back, there has never been a time when the British did not worry about people coming to their country and not blending in. The British are a xenophobic race and this will never change.

  6. I'd quite like to see one, the current UK government needs to be ousted. It's trying to turn Britain into a namby pamby PC police state and the British people's culture is constantly being eroded day in day out because   anybody who dares to stand up for British values or traditions is branded an extremist.

There have already been a number of small right wing backlashes. For example, the British National Party has more DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED member in power than at any time since its founding, there is also a rise of Radical Islam.

  7. Hopefully
