Will normal DVDs play on a Blu-Ray Player??

I have loads of DVDs... but i want to buy a Blu-Ray player... I dont want my DVDs to stay on d shelf... so could they play on Blu-Ray player?

Yes, the Blu Ray players are capable of displaying NORMAL DVDs....

They also do music too....

Yes, Blu-Ray players will play standard DVD's as well, so go for the plunge.

Yes, most of them will also "upconvert" them to 1080p which won't look as good as Blu-Ray but will look much better than they do using a standard def player.

I think that they will work, but they will not be in high definition.
