Will not connect. My speedstream 5667 is not working. when i plug everything in the computer

My speedstream 5667 is not working. when i plug everything in the computer shows that the ethernet cord is not plugged in and it says that there is no connection. i live in an apartment so i do not have a cd. the only thing that i can think of is that i pressed the reset button because our network was down so i was just wondering how i should go about fixing this problem. thank you very much.
