Yes, he's just pandering to both sides right now.

You would think McCain would since he was in bondage for 6 years himself. I think he suffers from Stockholm syndrome among other things like abandoning his first wife over a little deformity.

Obama believes in government control of everything, more taxes and more government, so there will be no freedom with Obama. Every aspect of our lives will be decided by an intellectual elite appointed by politicians.

The adoptees that I know, myself, my 2 children and some friends are not living in bondage- thank you very much.  You know something it seems that adoption issues are more important than the abortion issue with the questions that I have read today here. Not to say that some adoption reform should happen, but who can honestly say that they could vote for a man who said "I will never punish my girls for sleeping with someone, but making them carry their babies to full term?"-  No matter what your thoughts on abortion, that is a sick thought coming from a father- what if his two children had been aborted?  Therefore Obama is not the one for me.

Even though Obama is adopted and faces the discrimination of sealed records, he's friends with Feinholtz or whatever her name is, the rep from Illinois who just introduced a VETO bill. She campaigned for him and that is to the best of my knowledge the closest contact to the open records campaign he has. Which isn't sounding hopefull, but maybe he'd pull some unconditional access bill out of his... and surprise us all :)

McCains wife was the part of an incredibly fishy adoption imo. She brought a child home which she claims to have already adopted before McCain even knew from the articles I've read anyways. How does one person in a marriage adopt without the others consent, when she wasn't planning to and just did it on a whim? Sounds wierd to me.

I'm voting for Obama regardless :)

I have not heard either candidate talk about adoption/foster care. Now I do recall reading something months ago  about foster care on Hilary’s  website

Also Obama is not adopted.
