In spite of the incredible increases in fuel costs there is little being discussed by the presidential candidates about their ideas to control the problem? Virtually everything we know and appreciate (quality of life, food, travel, work, survival) revolves around our fuel costs. In spite of this and the run-away costs the campaigners are giving it little concern. We hear of rising health care costs and those who can not afford it, we hear we need higher minimum wages, we hear education is costing too much. Why are we not hearing why? Is it due to the rising fuel costs? Isn't it time we DEMAND our government do something about the rising fuel costs (maybe regulation)? It seems every time a politician takes a stand on this we loose track of them; example, the States Attorney General who vowed to get to the bottom of rising fuel costs. For a short while we heard his arguments but they were soon quieted when he was offered and accepted a federal judgeship.
