  1. yes, any kind of food or beverage will go bad without covers or lids.  air borne bacteria!

  2. Due to the temperatures outside it is very likely for your OJ to go bad overnight. Sometimes (mainly during the winter) you may get lucky if you forget to place the cap on but most of the time it will go bad and it is definitely not advisable to proceed with drinking after initial testing.

  3. No.

  4. Ummm I would think so, I dont think I would drink it! ;]

  5. I don't think so. But i still wouldn't drink it...bugs...and stuff.

  6. Yes, bacteria and mold can begin to grow in it. But, I have found it out before and drank it right away, and I didn't get sick. It had been left out about 6 hours. It depends on how long it was out, if it has been 10 or 12 hours, I would throw it out. Otherwise, it needs to be drunk right away. Don't put it back in the fridge.

  7. Because it will get hot and the flavor will get out, and it will taste really bad.

  8. makes it taste better in my opinion.

knowing that its doing some bad to your body.

  9. Not necessarily.  There are some things to keep in mind.  The big thing is the temperature in the room.  On the plus side, orange juice has a high acid content which acts like a preservative.  Your safest bet...when in doubt, throw it out.

  10. It should be okay.  Good Luck!

  11. yes ^^

  12. NO NOT REALLY

  13. Just orange juice should not go bad sitting out overnight. However that could depend on what is added to it too. If an ingredient needs to be refrigerated then it may.

Now despite this something can get inside with the cap off and can cause a health issue. But as far as growing any mold or what not, that is possible but just overnight it should not be enough to cause a problem.

Now, keep in mind about nutrient content too. Once opened the OJ will have the most vitamin C it will ever have. After 24 hours it will contain only 50%. Day 3 there will be only 25% of the original vitamin C and by Day 4 only 10%. If it is left out and open that loss will be greatly increased. Heat and light destroy nutrients faster. I know, I know. Light is healthy for plants but once harvested light will start to deplete plant parts of nutrients.

  14. No. Orange juice is acidic and will not go bad over night, unless you are in a very humid climate and it is hot.

  15. It should be OK if was just out one night. We refrigerate  our  groceries to keep the bacteria that is present from growing and spoiling our products. Unless you drink from the bottle there should not be very many of these bacteria present. Enjoy it with a little vodka and, Happy trails....
