Hopefully by then we will have a better solution and not be using traditional fuel...we may be back to riding horses.

No.  By that time we'll have something else (electric cars, hydrogen, etc.)

hopefully we will be past the(fossil fuel) gas stage by then---alternative fuels--solar power----electric---wind---anything but polluting gas fumes

were probably gonna ditch gas powered cars for electric cars..but if we did keep the gas it would probably be 25 bucks or so

At some point conservation will kick in and people will stop using gasoline for things they can use other stuff for.  As world demand rises who knows how high the price of gas will get.  Public transportation and bicycles and nuclear power.  We can fire the nuclear waste into outer space because no one on earth wants it.

They pay $20 a gallon in some countries now...
