yes, everything comes to an end but what we are doing to the world wont end it,it will end us. The planet will be much better off without humans on it. We are arrogant and selfish and even with proof of our destruction we think a few more miles per gallon in mileage will make things better while we war over oil. Humans as a group are pretty stupid. Maybe with some luck a few of us will live through the devastation of global warming and maybe the few left will learn from our mistakes but i doubt it.

Of course -- but not soon.  In a billion years or so, the sun will have gone through most of the hydrogen in its core, and will start burning helium.  At that point, the sun will go red giant, and earth will be toast.  Literally.

This is something I've said for years and years - human beings won't destroy the planet.  The only thing we're likely to destroy are ourselves, or other organisms.  We're essentially fleas on the side of a giant creature rocketing through space.  We may be some really big, nasty fleas (the types with nuclear power plants and weaponized anthrax), but we're still pretty small in our potential effect on the planet.

People fail to realize just how resilient the planet is.  We're a pretty complex species, but we're not as powerful as we give ourselves credit for.

The things we do to the planet are a lot like scratches, even the bad stuff.  Life itself will continue.  When we're gone, eventually some other critters will take our place.

Yes and the stage is setting now in the middle east. Russia and Iran and a few Muslim countries will surround Israel and attack, then Egypt,

Yeah if people don't straighten out within the next 20 years or so I don't think there's to much hope for it, right now I don't think there's a lot of hope for it but what can you do you just have to make the best of what there is I guess.

Especially with war its so stupid, religion causes war and I just don't get how some people work.

I don't think one or even 10 people could save the earth even if they wanted to, I know they couldn't, no one really cares, they'll start caring when what's happening in New Orleans AGAIN right now is happening to them, when they have nothing, everything's under water and they have to sit and watch tv from 1000 miles away from there home seeing everything under water, seeing cars float down the street.

God promised he would make a new earth? WOW just frigging wow.. When god shows up at my door step and says Nicole I'm making a new earth weather anybody likes it or not, THEN I'll start believing that one.

I think if god was around he wouldn't be saying oh yes lets spend $2 million in a plane to go over to Iraq and have innocent people killed, I don't think god would make everyone Christian and say that there shouldn't be g**s, I don't think god would judge.

God didn't make the bible, no one even knows if there is a God, no one knows how this planet even got started but I think we all know how its going to end, either its the sun or its the water and there's nothing that we can do about it until people straighten there act out, and by that point, it'll be to late.

We're all screwed but we just have to make the best of it, hurricanes will keep happening, tornados, all of that stuff but we just have to make it work.

The bible is man made, another harmful thing in my eyes, just another thing to live off for people who have no direction, just another way to be judged, so I'm sorry that I'm not a Christian and you don't like me because of what I just said.

I don't have a religion because I don't want to fight, I hate hearing about people getting killed in Iraq, fathers, husbands, all of that, they don't deserve it, but everybodies United States president is a big @$$hole and is part of the main problem.
