Will our relationship work commuting?

My partner and I want to move in together, but he has a job he is tied down to in Wolverhampton (near Birmingham) and I want to practice law in London.

What places are halfway, and do you think it could work commnting both ways? Would we ever get to see eachother, or will we always be on trains??

Relationships with two folks that travel aren't always bad. Sometimes you just need the space and will begin to appreciate them more as you see them less (for some strange reason).
