Will over-the-air tv still be fuzzy once I get a DTV converter?

  1. Depends. You could get rock-solid images from the digital station if the analog signal isn't too far from your home and has minimal snow. If the analog signal is more than a little snowy, it's likely the digital signal will be difficult to pull in, if at all, without some help from an amplified indoor or outdoor antenna.


  2. It all depends on how far you are from the signal and how well you pick it up.

    As a general rule it will be somewhat better than how you received the channel with the analog signal.  

    This means that if it was already horrible it will probably still be pretty bad but if fairly decent it could end up perfect with the converter.

  3. the simple answer is no! You will be getting digital signals that are converted to analog and will have no ghosts no snow no saturation problems for color.

  4. Only if the TV is kept cold and damp! for months with the door shut.

  5. It will either be crystal clear or totally unwatchable depending on your antenna and the signal of the transmitter.
