  1. No, not generally.  However, it does give you the right to say that you've earned however-many college credits, which could help you to get a job.  

    CLEP test help you to earn college credits.  Some schools give letter grades for them, others just give you credit on a Pass basis.  Getting your degree, or at least working toward it, can help get a job.


  2. No, it'll just give you an A in the class that you clepped out of.
