Will peanuts fed to hens make the eggs have peanut allergens?

Interesting question, but the answer is no.  If a hen is fed peanuts the allergens will not be incorporated into the egg, or the meat of the chicken either.  Peanut allergens as well as those of other foods can make their way into milk, so nursing mothers should take care about eating things like a lot of peanuts, especially if allergies  are common in the family.  Pregnant mothers could pass the allergens to baby as well.
