So i'm going to Australia in about a week and i want to be absolutely positive that the voltage adapter i buy will work in sydney. Please use this link to look at the adapter and tell me if that is what your outlets look like. i know it says that it will work in australia and new zealand, but i just want to be positive. because some other adapters that i looked at were just for converting 110-120 voltage into 220-240 voltage, and they looked different.

  1. As long as it converts 110 to 240 it will work in both Auz & Kiwi

  2. I am in Australia, my sister is in Auckland, that plug will do both as I send her stuff occasionally (like baby lights for the new one) my Auckland sister just moved back after 10yrs in Australia and all her electrical stuff works from Australia, that's a good price too.

  3. Yes, it looks like it is the correct adaptor to use here.

  4. it will fit no problem

  5. i agree she'll work

  6. yes this is a good one. Here in Aust we have a brand called Korjo who make travel products. They also have an adaptor and you can buy this $11.50AUS at any airport here in Australia.

  7. It will fit for sure. If you are using the adaptor for a mobile phone charger, it will be ideal as the mobile phone charger will be a switch mode power supply and will work on both 120 and 240 volts at a frequency of 50 to 60hz. All will be good. If for whatever reason your adaptor does not work when you get here, go to a "K-mart" or "Big W" store and buy one for around $10 AUD.  They have them for all countries, US, canada, UK, etc. Good luck and have fun.

  8. That adapter will fit our sockets here, but it appears to be only a plug adapter. It doesn't look as if it will also change the voltage. That won't be a problem if your device works with 220-240v, but you should check each appliance just in case.
