Will planned parenthood perform an abortion without parental permission?

How much does it cost? My boyfriend is Native American and im black and our family doesn't like interaccial dating and I don't want to start any drama. I'm 14 and he is 15. Can his parents sign? Will they do it? I'm only 6 weeks along Keep the pro life answers to yourself. What I'm doing is perfectly legal and I have a right to control my body. I am not interested in being stupid and ruining my life for a unwanted baby. I don't consider a mass of undeveloped organs and blood a "human." What happens during the procedure? And does it hurt?

I don't think that you have to have your parent's permission to have an abortion at Planned Parenthood, but the best way to find out is to ask them, and the sooner the better.

A friend of mine had an abortion there, she was less than three month along and they gave her a pill which caused her to miscarry at home. She said it was painful, but just like a really bad period.

If you're due in November that would make you six months pregnant, and an abortion may or may not be possible this late in the pregnancy.

No It is not free and it depends on you state if you need notification of a parent. Most places wont preform an abortion until you are 10 weeks along at least. The general price in illinois is around 300-400 a procedure. Nothing against you having it done BUT do educate yourself a little. At week 6 the mass does have a beating heartbeat and buds for hands fingers and toes to develop. I am pro choice.

Instead of abortion have you considered adoption. If your not ready to raise a baby then in my opinion you shouldnt be having s*x and unprotected s*x for that matter.

I feel sad for you that you feel like you cannot talk to your parents about this. I am not going to get into whether abortion is right or wrong, I just feel for you; that you cannot turn to your parents in your time of need. You should try to talk to them, they might surprise you. You're only 14 right now so you're not going to understand as you still have a lot of growing up to do. But please consider adoption. If you do go with abortion...when you grow up and become an adult,  the feelings of pain & guilt and shame will hit you hard and you'll be haunted by those feelings for the rest of your life. Its so not worth it, trust me.

planned parenthood has a sliding scale (it may be free for you because you don't work)

many states do not require any parental permission to have an abortion (once you are pregnant you are considered an adult)

the type of abortion you have depends on how far along you are, if you are less than 2 months they usually give you a pill and you get your period (no pain except regular type cramps)

if you are further along they do a D&C which also is painless
