Will plants give out oxygen at night if subjected to tube/bulb light?

Plants photosynthesise with daylight and give out oxygen. During night they take in oxygen and give out CO2( carbon-di-oxide).

Does the photosynthesis process take place with the help of artificial light such as tube/bulb light and if yes will the plants give out oxygen during the night if subjected to artificial light?

Plants do Photosynthesis in Day light or Tube light.

The plants in Dark emit Co2 in air and takin in Oxygen.

Please sleep under a Tree in Night is uneasy for breath.

But during day time it is good for sleep. Your Eyes automatically closed

  3. Yes.  Photosynthesis will occur no matter what time it is in the "I set clocks" world.

    The answer is YES.

You should study and even experiment.

Grow a plant.  In condition (A).  Grow another one in condition (B).

Good grief, Charlie Brown, growing plants is GOOD for the WORLD.

  4. plants can absorb light energy and photosynthesize CO2 and H2O to make sugars and O2 every hour of the day, however, plants need short wave, photons of high energy as light for photosynthesis, which means that plants require special lighting equipment.

  5. Source doesn't matter only UV rays required.
