Will polyethylene tubing resist oxidation from ozone gas?

and how is teflon tubing different than polyethylene tubing, and how do they compare when exposed to high concentration ozone.

  1. Teflon is the perfluorinated version of polyethylene. Both polymers are pretty much inert, and resistant to ozone gas. If pushed to extremes, the Teflon material is probably more chemically resistant than the polyethylene. But Teflon is more expensive, so if your desired usage isn't too extreme, it makes sense to go with polyethylene tubing.
