Will pond fish eat fish food?

Question

Ok so we just caught a fish from a pond. It looks like a goldfish, and were keeping it in a fishtank alone. if we feed it goldfish food will it eat it? and also, if we buy a store bought fish will they like eachother??

pond fish should stay in a pond realy

Koi pellets is a good food  if it is big enough and it wont bother any goldfish

yes it will eat fish food and will mingle well with new comers just don't forget to quarantine the new fish
