portsmouth want to be in the top 4 ?

they want to get bigger as a club

yet they still result to the boring defensive tactics of a championship side facing a top 4 club just to gain that MAGIC point !

they tried it with chelsea but they dont realise that thats how chelsea play too so you cant defend against a team that defends.....

i predict that tevez will get the winner and harry redknapp will claim it was a close game when it reality it was 21 players in portsmouth half and van der sar in ours....

I thought the idea of the league was to come as high as you possibly can, isn't that everyone's objective?

As for your question, I don't think they even played against Chelsea the other day, just stood on the pitch looking useless, not one of our better performances.

I don't think they'll break into the top 4 this season, but we can live in hope....

In the league game last season at Fratton Park, Portsmouth were actually nearer winning than Manchester United. Pompey gave it a real go and after they equalised through Benjani in the 53rd minute, it was clear that if anyone was going to win then it was going to be the home side.
