Also, wages, taxes and insurance for the employees will go up.

We are at the very beginning of huge run ups in all prices.

Nothing is going to get cheaper, except our wages.

It is possible the cost increased cost of gas may be offset by more revenues due to higher ridership.

Most likely,   but keep in mind that increased ridership will help keep this from happening.    It costs only slightly more to operate a bus with 40 riders than it does to do so with 5 riders,  and generates 8 times the revenue.

Yes it will.  It's already happening.  Yes it's still cheaper, but not cheaper than a bicycle.

And where I live... not even close to as fast as riding!
