Will problems still happen on ps3 and its games?

i want to buy a ps3 in 2009 but im worried about the bugs,freezes,glitches that appears on a game.what is the real answer for all of this?why do people say that this game is good and other people says this game has lots of problems?it confuses me.lots of people complained games that has freezes and problems such as gta 4 freeze in the intro/gameplay scenes,blacksite area 51 glitches and freezes and many complains about their games.Will this be fixed before 2009 or will it be forever?

The problems are always patched very soon and they arent very common, you hear a lot about the GTA 4 problem because it was a very big release but the number of problems were very small and have already been fixed.

Blacksite area 51 is a rappy game so i wouldnt worry about that if i were you ;)

I only have problems with online gaming and GTA IV is the only one I have issues with sometimes (usually late at night).  Part of it depends on the connection you have.  They did release a patch of course but didn't seem to help me too much.

dude the only freezes i get are on the online games....i got really crappy internet tho...i had 0 freezes on my GTA IV single player.....its fine dude
