Will promethazine show up in a p**s test?

It really depends on what they are checking for.  If it is a normal test done before you start a new job or something then it shouldn't.  They are testing for narcotics. promethazine is not a narcotic. Promethazine is the generic for phenagren.  Mostly used for nausea. If you are wondering if it could cause a false positive on a drug test.....possible...not likely.

Its a phenothiazine.  It would show on a panel for antipsychotics, but when would you get that??

No, but only if you eat onions, pickels, and cranberrys sprinkled with peper, all of those combined create an acid that desolves the promethazine in your body! Worked for me!

I doubt it, why the h**l would:

1. Anybody use it as an recreational drug

2. Anybody test for it

3. Anybody care

Promethazine is an antihistamine like bendryll and also stops vomiting.  In most countries except for the US it is OTC.  I don't know why you would use it illegally.  I don't think anyone would test for it.
