Its almost 8:30am, and i haven't been to sleep yet. I'm 14 years old and for the past two weeks i've been sleeping into 4pm and going to bed around 6am. So i decided to pull an all nighter and go to bed around 8pm tonight. Do you think this will work?

  1. ive tried it afew times.

and i always end up back in my same old habits of staying up late and sleeping in till the afternoon.

you need to retrain your body clock.

so everynight go to bed at the same, early time.

    even if your not tired.

turn the lights off, no music or anything.

eventually your body will get into a routine.

  2. IT will work yes. That is exactly what I am doing right now. Trying to sort out my body clock. Don't expect it to be easy though.

  3. This sounds like a good plan.

Even if you are tired and go to sleep at 7 p.m. it should be OK.

I hope you get your sleep cycle back to a regular one before school starts.  Good Luck.

  4. Yes. It will probably work to "reset" your sleeping schedule.

    Best of luck,

  5. Yeah just keep yourself occupied. Go hang out with friends. I actually had to do this last week to get on a normal sleeping schedule I was staying up until like 9am and sleeping until 6pm lol. You'll be really tired by 8pm and you will have a very good sleep haha. The biggest thing is to not even think about laying down throughout the day though. Just keep busy.

  6. In terms of school work, I find an all nighter will always work but in terms of sleep deprivation and sleep clocks...

Not always guarenteed to work, only to hurt :p

  7. GO FOR IT!
