  1. seriously trust me if you are a good surfer you may be able to stand up if not that good then a probability of falling over hitting your head on the side and possibly never able to surf again

ENJOY  (not the bad bit) :D

  2. NO WAY HOSAY!  it wont do a thing to your board, just dont duckdive too deep in the shallow end, because you might ding the nose....

wetsuits on the other hand, might get a little bit ruined if you put them in chlorine water. lie pools.

  3. It's not gonna hurt it but what is there to test?

  4. No it will not hurt it at all. Its good practice

  5. Why not test it in the ocean? If you have a fiberglass resin board, you will easily ding it on the cement and gunnite walls of a pool. One of the new epoxy boards will probably be a little tougher. Of course if you have one of the sleazy, mass-produced tough-lite pop outs, you won't damage it at all. There is even a good reason to have one of them. get out of the pool and go surfing!

  6. Well, if the fiberglass is in good shape, you'll be fine. However, I would definitely give it a fresh water rinse after you put it in your pool.

The bottom line is any damage that would come from a swimming pool would probably be less than what you'd get from taking it into the ocean in terms of the type of water it's in.

But again, just like wetsuits, you should always give your board a good rinsing after taking it out and never leave wetsuits in the sun for too long after rinsing them off.
