  1. it will help but you can let some air out of youe rear tires to get more traction then dont forget to mair them up again before you drive home

  2. I pulled a 19 foot bayliner cuddy with a chevy luv truck for a year too... d**n I was so not too intelligent back then...  the truck isn't made to pull a boat that weighs more than it does... not to mention the safety aspect ;)

  3. If wheelspin is a problem, you could try using sandbags or some sort of weight.  You could also increase tongue weight on the trailer(in a safe way), by moving the boat up the trailer.

Im guessing there is no locking diff, so try powerbraking off the ramp to help get the rpm's up on the motor to acheive x-tra torque.

Im also going to guess it is a 4.3L V6.  You could try adding performance mods to the engine such as a K&N cold air intake or exhaust.

  4. Either the boat is too large/heavy or the grade is too steep to be safe.

    S10 what. v-8,6cyl, 4cyl.

It is a mass to ratio and grade and stuff. But it isn't rocket science.

The dead weight in or on the vessel could be moved to the bed, that is a sorta solution.

I would think that water jugs would be better, you can siphon in or out as needed.

  5. are you getting tire spin? If so it might help some or have a buddy ride on the bumper till you get up the ramp when pulling it out of the water, but wet tires, light weight truck they will spin. If it's not a 4 cylinder truck prob 200 lbs or more of sand bags will help..
