Will queen sheets fit a full bed?

I am trying to get matching sheet sets for my two sons' beds, and of course the full size sets are sold out at Pottery Barn Kids. I am tempted to just buy the queen set as opposed to paying almost twice as much for the sold-out full size on eBay.

I've never tried putting queen sheets on a full bed, but has anyone else out there done this and decided it looked okay?

it looks ok but the fitted sheet is pretty loose...

Queens will be too big for a full size bed but you can use them. The fitted mattress sheet will be loose fitting. The top sheet will be longer on the sides.

I've done it before. The sheets stay put, but its loose on the top. Instead of being snuggly fit. I don't mind mine being loose. So, If they don't mind...go for it..why not??
