Will "Swix" ski wax work on snowboards. I wanted to hot wax but I don't have time. Please Help! I leave tom.!!

I have several different sticks of "Swix" ski wax from my dad. I leave tomorrow for Upper Michigan for a week of snowboarding with my friends. I wanted to hot wax my board but I ran out of time and the only iron we have is my mom's, so its not an option. Just wondering if there is anything that I can do with this wax to use it on my board. I would really like it to be a bit slicker for the trip. Please advise on whether or not it will work on a snowboard. I would greatly appreciate it!

Any kind will work, but hot wax is the best. I suggest that you bite the bullet and do it, as any sort of spray/rub on wont last more than a couple runs.
