I bought the distilled water at a pharmacy and now I notice it says it has been "ozonated"

  1. i dont think so...but i gave up messing with battery acid and water 25 years ago...get a sealed bat and dont worry,,,be happy...

  2. it shouldnt. they recomend that if you put water in a battery that it be distilled so i dont think itll hurt

  3. Ozonated water has had ozone bubbled through it to improve its taste. Plain distilled water has no taste at all, as it is pure water with no contaminants. To a battery, oxygen is a contaminate, so I would dump what you have and get plain, distilled water.

When I need distilled water for batteries I know that it is distilled because I distill it myself.

  4. No it will not hurt it, it is what is recommended. The "ozonated" will have no effect either way, its the distilled part of the equation that is most important. And I would rather be able to check my water level in the batts then not. It is a simple thing to do.
